- The training
that follows is appropriate for all staff members at your
facility.
- Training
courses are structured by topic and skill level.
- Training
and testing is self-administered and offered on a 24-7 basis.
- Training
is approved for contact hours through the National Association
of Nephrology Technicians/Technologists (NANT)*

Levels of Training
Three different levels of training are given, each
with increasing depth of information and developed for specific
needs.
- Level 100:
developed for both new and experienced employees, whether they
have direct dealings with the water system or not, to give them
an introduction to water treatment and its components.
- Level 200:
developed for a more in-depth study of water treatment and components.
Appropriate for the staff that will be performing monitoring checks
and troubleshooting problems with the water treatment system.
- Level 300:
developed as an advanced study of various water treatment technologies
and practices. Appropriate for technicians, biomedical personnel,
and others who are directly responsible for the water treatment
system or wish to learn more about treating today’s water.
Approved Contact Hours
*Mar Cor/Minntech will
provide contact hours through the National Association of Nephrology
Technician/Technologists (NANT) for this program.
These hours are provided through the California Board of Nursing
and may be used for certification requirements by the Nephrology
Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) and recertification
requirements by the Board of Nephrology Examiners, Nursing and Technology
(BONENT), NNCC and the National Nephrology Certification
Organization (NNCO) for both dialysis technicians
and nurses.
